Taychreggan houses one of the finest restaurants in the Dundee area. Our philosophy is to source the best quality ingredients (locally where possible), cook them properly and present the dish simply. Combine this with our professional yet friendly service, extensive wine list and selection of over 400 single malt whiskies and we believe we have the recipe for an excellent dining experience.
In recognition of our quality Taychreggan Restaurant has been assessed under the EatScotland quality assurance scheme. For acceptance as an EatScotland participant, applicants must achieve a level of quality against a national benchmark in their respective food style. They are rigorously assessed for the inherent quality of their ingredients, presentation, culinary skills and service.
In recognition of our commitment to Scotch Beef we have recently been admitted to The Scotch Beef Club; one of only 250 members UK wide. The Scotch Beef club is unashamedly based on quality. Restaurants who are accepted as members of this exclusive club will promote Scotch Beef clearly and unambiguously on their menus, sending out a positive message about the integrity of Scotch Beef to discerning customers all over the world. In order to be accepted, applicants have to demonstrate the ability to clearly identify the beef they purchase and a commitment and co-operation with their suppliers to have the required information available on request.
